MILAN is an annual dance event organized by the South Asian American Students group at MIT. Milan features three different types of Indian folk dance called Garba, Dandiya Raas, and Bhangra. The steps are characterized by high energy, excitement and group participation, and consist of fast beats and rhythmic patterns. Most importantly, the steps are very easy to learn -- so no experience is necessary!
